Duties: As a Police Officer with the City Of Yonkers , you will be responsible for enforcing NYS and Local Laws and Ordinances, protecting lives and property.

Basic eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 – 34 years of age by the exam date.
  • Applicants must be legal residents of Westchester, Nassau, Putnam, Rockland, or Bronx Counties.
  • Filing fee of $100 (check or money order only) must be included with application.
  • High School Diploma or GED required at time of appointment.
  • United States citizenship required at time of appointment.
  • Valid New York State Class D Driver’s License required at time of appointment.
