Duties: NYS Court Officer Trainees are responsible for maintaining order and providing security in Courthouses, buildings, grounds and other areas. NYS Court officer Trainees are Peace Officers, and are authorized to make arrests, execute bench warrants and may be authorized to carry firearms.
