Minimum Wage In New York State

 Effective December 31, 2018, the minimum wage in New York State will be going up. In New York City, big companies with 11 or more employees, will have to pay employees a minimum of $15 per hour. Companies with 10 or less employees, will have to pay a minimum wage of $13.50 per hour. On long Island and in Westchester County, the minimum wage will be $12.00 per hour. In the remainder of New York State, workers will have to paid at least $11.10 per hour.
