The New York State Police is accepting applications for the August 2027 Academy Class. How to Apply
All applications are submitted online at joinstatepolice.ny.gov. There is no in-person application option — the entire process, from initial application through exam scheduling, runs through the online portal and Pearson VUE.
Wait for your application to be reviewed. Once authorized, you’ll receive an email from Pearson VUE with instructions to schedule your entrance exam.
Step 3
